But sometimes, even though you are capable of buying those things, your own house is the one keeping you from buying them, since space is sometimes limited.

How to save or maximize space in your own home can be tricky, yet possible. You just have to make sure that you look at those extra spaces that most people oversee. One of them are the staircases… Most homes, old and new, have enclosed staircases. One has to remember that all you need for a staircase is a good base. The extra space underneath it can always be used as closets or shelf spaces. In bathrooms, it will be a good idea to hang wicker baskets on the walls for extra storage. You can put towels, soaps, tissues and other toiletries. Also consider putting hooks at the back of the bathroom door instead of hanging bars. It can save you more space since it will be just like a dot on your door. In the bedroom, if possible, take advantage of the headboards and convert them in to a storage unit. You can out a lot of things in there, just use your imagination. In the kitchen, make sure that the space between you counters, refrigerator, and the sink is just right.
