Blending Colors in your Home

Changing the colors inside the house is a challenging thing. Blending colors in your home is practically like blending colors in a painting. You have to know what you want to see after all the mixing and thinking. But unlike painting where you are allowed to make mistakes, you are not allowed to make mistakes in your house because it will cause you more money.

When trying to find the right combinations for your house, make sure that you consider everything. As Dr Dave and Dr Dee have said in their website, try using the 60-30-10 rule where one color should cover 60% of the room and curtains, 30% for secondary colors which can be used in furniture upholstery, and the other 10% for accent colors. Try also using a color scheme for the room. Complementary colors are great to use when painting a room. Make use of the color wheel and check what colors compliment each other. If you are living in an old house, try to recreate the original color. If you think it’s not that good, try interchanging the colors using the 60-30-10 rule. It should give you good results and make it even more attractive.
