I will be hosting a get-together next weekend to celebrate my sister’s return from her backpacking through the whole Asia and some parts of Europe. We are doing the celebration because she was able to come out of it safe and sound, without getting infected with that swine flu outbreak and I believe she’s already just staying in her hotel right now in London and that is basically the last stop from her backpacking tour and it’s been a while seen we’ve seen her. Now, I’m thinking that since a lot of people will be coming in to the house, I think it would be a good idea to rent California roll off containers so cleaning would be easier. My house is big enough to get all of her friends and some of our relatives but I don’t think the garbage cans are capable to handle such task. I think a roll off dumpster would be a perfect fit so I wouldn’t have to worry too much on the wastes that we could come up with. I am on the lookout for a Texas portable storage company that can help me to transport my furniture and appliances from my old house to my new one. I think I have to get me some air conditioners as soon as possible because summer is already taking its effect and the California heat is starting to go to overtime. I know I could always go to the beaches here but then again, I can’t do it every day since it will not be economical on my part and I have work during weekdays. Another thing is that I can’t swim, and even if I go to the beach, it will still be hot inside the house. I have been a victim of those pesky parasites for almost a week now and I think it is about time to call pest control and try to buy a new bed at the same time. It has been really hard to sleep and not even a glass of warm milk or a good bedtime story could make me get a good night’s sleep. I talked to my friend and he told me that it should be a good idea to call Orkin because they can surely handle any type of pestilence inside and outside of the house. I should be able to get them come in my house as soon as possible since my friend told me that they can be contacted both online and through phone. I thought it would be a lot better than to buy those sprays that doesn’t work.

We are currently having some renovations around the house as I am trying to maximize my whole land by taking the backyard and turning it in to part of the house itself. I still have a big front lawn so I guess there is really no need to have the backyard since most of the things that I have in there are just the bed of grass and a couple of shrubs. I thought it would be a good idea to have the extension done as soon as possible before we go to Russia for the adventure tours that we booked for the mig 29 price that we paid. They’ll be letting us to pilot the military aircrafts that we have in a very reasonable fee.

Anyway, the main idea is to move the kitchen to the location where the backyard is currently located as well as the bathroom. I also want to enlarge the bathroom so it should give us room for a bigger tub. With the move, it makes more room for the dining area and the living room as well and we wouldn’t have to have any problems moving around. Then when I get more money, I’ll have the second floor renovated as well.

I am finally able to get enough money to buy some new beds for the house, at least the ones that I have always wanted. I was eyeing out some super king size divan beds over the internet because I really fell in love with this kind of bed when I first see it a couple of years ago. But then something unexpected happened… I was able to see some memory foam beds that made me think twice… the bed style was almost close to perfect and it was the first time that I actually had interest in another type of bed. I am basically ecstatic when I saw the type of bed that made me think twice about what I want. I thought I always had it made when it comes to selecting what type of bed do I want, but here is a new one telling me to think something else. I guess I really have to think about it because for one thing, if I am already sure what I really want to get, I would not even try to look for something else, but I did… I think I would need to ask my girl what she thinks about the two beds.

We were in the process of moving from Springfield to Chicago because we were able to buy a house and lot in there and I was really happy about the decision to choose moving companies from Chicago rather than Springfield because we were able to get a good deal out of it. The Chicago movers were really good to us and they were able to deliver our stuff in a very safe manner. We received our stuff on time again and never had any conflicts of any kind whatsoever. The movers were also able to take really good care of the sculptures that we have and everything arrived in one piece. Right now, we are concentrating on where to put what thing in because quite honestly, we really haven’t thought about it yet and the house is a bit messy with all the boxes scattered all over the place. The only things that got really placed were the beds, couch, fridge and the two televisions. For the rest, we are still figuring out where to put. That’s the only problem though since as I have said, all of our stuff has been delivered nicely and without any troubles. My wife is currently designing the game plan so we could get everything to their proper places. I am just thankful that the couch and the beds are already good because if not, I don’t even want to think where I would possibly sleep. I certainly would not want to sleep in the living room.

My wife has been nagging for a couple of weeks now because she said the vacuum cleaner is still broken, and whenever she decides to clean the house, she talks virtually nonstop, just talking about that darn cleaner. I decided to have it checked and I was told that I would have to buy some vacuum spares so I could have it fixed. He said I would also need to have some new dyson spares so I could use the vacuum cleaner properly. I haven’t bought anything yet because I was busy at work and cannot go to Dyson’s service center to buy some parts, and the spares that my technician, who happens to be my friend, have told me. He gave me an idea where I might be able to get me some of those items that he said I have to have and even told me that he will fix the vacuum cleaner free of charge, provided I buy him some miele spares for his vacuum cleaner. He said his is also broken and couldn’t find time to buy the spare parts because he has been getting a lot of work orders as well. I accepted the deal and the parts should come in anytime soon, and the house should be nag free once again.
